This Department has been pursuing the following initiatives:
1. Finding out scopes for private participation and following up major Educational Schemes through Non-Government Organisations (NGO).
2. Financial assistance for hostel accommodation for girls students to the minorities including establishment and expenditure of schools/colleges, duly recognized by competent authorities.
3. Financial assistance to technical/ professional institutions run by educationally backward minorities organisation.
4. Financial assistance for remedial coaching to educationally backward minorities.
5. Financial assistance for pre-examination coaching for different services under Central/State Government to educationally backward minorities.
6. Pre-examination coaching.
